TAMPA – Tom workman is a busy man — he owns his own company, cleaning floors, and he’s been doing it a long time. But don’t be surprised if during his mopping, or polishing, he breaks out into song.
“I sang all through high school. Gave up on it, because life got in the way,” he says.
Tom Workman
Tenor
Tom has appeared in numerous concerts with the Sunstate Opera & Tampa Bay Opera Company including the operas: Madame Butterfly & La Traviata performed at the Palladium Theater and Pinellas Park Cultural Center. Other roles performed in the Opera Scenes and Love Songs concert series are Mario Caverdosi (Tosca), Rudolpho (La Boheme), Ramades (Aida), and Gaston (La Traviata). Tom also sings for the opening ceremony at the American Cancer Society’s Breast Cancer Walk every year.
Since 2004, the Artists for Humanity singers — all professionally trained in classical music — have donated their time and talents to help others. . . .
